Mundo Esmond, Cameroonian polyglotte who speaks 10 languages at 30.

A good success story is meant to be shared inorder to inspire as many other persons as possible. Never limit yourself. Set your goals and work towards achieving them. A young Cameroonian, born and raised in Italy, shared his story on Facebook.

*Key: advanced=fluent, beginner=can read,write and speak with basic vocabulary. Intermediate=less than advanced, more than beginner

Just a little back story and the purpose of this post: when I was 10, I only spoke English and Italian. When I was 20, I only spoke english,Italian,French and Understood Spanish. So I said to myself I wanna speak 10 by the time I'm 30 lol. Sounded crazy back then but I knew it was possible...with looooots of hard work and perseverance tho. Today I'm happy/honored/humbled to say the 10language mark by 30 has been reached! 😁😀
Few yrs ago, I was investing in the wrong direction and Divi Ng, a great friend and brother of mine gave me this piece of advice that'd change my life forever haha.nothing special, or nothing I had never heard prior,or anything you reading this now has never heard, but when we're going down a rabbit hole, it takes someone else to tell us to reroute haha.he told me "invest in yourself.you can't go wrong with investing in urself"
Aaaaand I did just that.invested in myself in a way that all I gain,will be mine to keep forever.not a flashy car that can crash, or a nice house that can be history after one tornado (nothing wrong with these things btw lol...there's just more than worldly possessions 😊)

And so to you all,I say invest in urself.learn sumn new.challenge urself.push urself.all these languages are a constant work in progress.I study one everyday and sometimes more than one a day. Point is: invest in urself. Try different things.cant know till you've tried.Language is one of my things. What's yours? #staythirstymyfriends"
